Reset Trip Odometer 2025 Subaru Forester. To set the trip meter to zero, select the a trip or b trip meter by pushing the knob and keep the knob pushed for more than 2 seconds. There's a big round button, about an inch in diameter, underneath the instrument cluster left of the steering column.

It is possible to switch between the a trip meter and b trip meter indications while the odometer/trip meter is lit up. Note that you also have two trip meters, a and b.
